Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, I have public liability insurance, as well as Dermalogica and Barbercide Hygiene certificates.
I use a range of high quality, premium products in both my hair and makeup kit, from different brands. Most of which are Cruelty-free or vegan, I do have a small selection of non-cruelty-free products only because I am yet to find Cruelty-free products that are of a high enough standard. If this is an concern for you, please let me know in advance and I won't use them for your booking.
Depending on what service you book, travel is covered up to 10 miles. After that there is a standard charge of 45p per mile. Any parking charges will also be billed to the client.
I always require a deposit upon any booking to secure your date, all deposits are non-refundable but redeemable against the final booking cost. I won't go forward with any booking until I received a deposit.

The trial will last approximately 2 hours for hair or makeup and 3 hours for both.
No, and you are just liable to pay for the trial and any travel charges incurred. However, I always allow plenty of time for your trial so that we can design your perfect look. I am very open and do not take offence, so there is something you do not like I would always rather you say and we can redo that aspect. After all, that is what a trial is for, and we will not leave you until you are happy.
You always have the right to change your mind. If you choose to cancel your wedding day booking following a trial, you will lose your deposit, but not be charged for the remainder of the services. For more information regarding cancellations please see my terms and conditions.
The lashes are a complimentary extra, so I would not be able to discount if you prefer not to have them. I always recommend giving them a try at your trial as they really help to complete the look and emphasise your eyes.
I will go through the timings and plan of the booking prior to the day at your trial. However, I usually say about two hours for hair and makeup and one hour for a single service.
If there are more than four makeups, I’ll probably bring in one of my assistants. We’ll always agree this with you in advance, so that you are clear about the set-up. It also depends on the time that you need to get into your dress and how happy you are with early mornings! If this is the case there will be a flat rate of £60.
I always use high quality and professional standard products, however, if your skin is especially sensitive you should let me know beforehand, so I know what products to avoid. I can then source the appropriate products before the trial that will suit your needs. If you are having a trial, we can go through in more detail what your main concerns where I can make recommendations for you do follow to give use the best possible outcome.
